222 Maoists sympathizers give up to cops in Malkangiri, Odisha

Malkangiri, Nov 23: The Maoist force are likely to lose its ground when around 222 Maoist sympathizers belonging to Tekguda, Sana Tekguuda and Tekguda colony surrendered before the Malkangiri police on Tuesday. They surrendered before Mitrabhanu Mohapatra, the District Superintendent.

As per sources among the surrendered Maoist sympathizers, 19 were militia and 72 were women.

Reports says that, in November more than 500 Maoist sympathizers have surrendered before the police.

It may be mentioned here that, on Monday, around 101 supporters of Maoist also surrendered before Malkangiri police which included 24 militia and 26 women.
