Bhubaneswar, Dec 1: On the first day of the Assembly session, a healthy tribute was paid to the departed leaders and soldiers of the nations. A minute silence was observed at the house.
Later the speaker adjourned the session by 3PM, after being unable to control the house, when Congress Chief Tara Prasad stood on the reporters’ table, trying to grab his microphone. In the initial hour, Opposition leader Narasingha Mishra requested debate over the JE deaths in Malkangiri rather than having a Question hour. But after rejected his plea the speaker asked to continue with the question hour. Suddenly congress members without a thought rushed to the well and created a brawl shouting slogans.
