Mayurbhanj, Dec 5: The prime accused of the murder of ex-ward member Balai Soren was held during the wee hours of yesterday.
Identified as Kasinath Marandi the prime accused, was arrested from his father-in-laws house early yesterday morning. As per sources Soren was sexually exploiting Marandi’s wife continuously. After repeated notice he did not change, and for the reason, the accused finding Soren alone in the mango gardens caught hold of him, tied his hands, put kerosene on him and burnt him alive.
Earlier their had also been discussing about the sexual exploitation of Soren, at his residence, to which Soren had said sorry and had promised not to repeat such thing further. But he again did this with Marandi’s wife in his absence. After coming to know about the incident he decided to kill him, and found him alone at the orchads and burnt him live.
