Bhubaneswar, Dec 5: Following the CBI notice issued on December 2, MLA Prabhat Biswal’s wife Laxmibilasini Biswal appeared before the CBI in connection of the Seashore scam, on Monday.
She is likely to be interrogated by the CBI officials over the land deal with Prashant Dash, the Chief of Seashore Group.
It may be noted that, on November 28, Laxmi Biswal had sent a representative on behalf of her to hand over some documents to the CBI officials.
In 2014, MLA Prabhat Biswal and Laxmibilasini Biswal were interrogated by the probe agency suspecting their links in the Seashore group scam.
