Cuttack, Jan 6: Following the order given by the State Election Commission (SEC) to inform the date of the annual HSC examination, a notification regarding the annual High School certificate (HSC) has been issued by the Board of Secondary Education (BSE) yesterday. As per the notification, the examination will start from February 27, 2017.
Informing more about the examination, Sushant Das, BSE president said at 9 AM the examinations will begin and student will be giving examination on one subject per day. For Mathematics paper, students wil be given another 15 minutes. For Madhyamik examination, the timings will be from 2 PM to 4:30 PM.
In 2939 centres, around 6, 05,064 students and 3595 students will appear for the annual HSC and the Madhyamik examination respectively, he added.
The Board has taken this decision on the dates by keeping in mind about the smooth conduct of both the HSC examination and panchayat polls, Das informed.
