Seashore chit fund scam: CBI serves notice to Balasore MP to appear on Jan 12 for the third time

Bhubaneswar, Jan 9: In connection to the investigation into the multi-crore Seashore chit fund scam, the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) today has served notice to Balasore MP Rabindra Jena thus asking him to appear before the CBI on Jan 12. Earlier, Jena has also earlier appeared before the central probe agency for the same case and this will be the third time that he will be quizzed by the probing agency. It was on Dec 10, 2016 that Jena had been grilled by the CBI for around seven hours, after which Jena had informed the media that he has given all the information which were asked by the officials which included questions on the financial transactions with the chit fund firm to which he replied that the company had taken some money which it has already returned.
