Odisha CM congratulates police officers for successful performance in their duty in capital city

Bhubaneswar, Jan 10: Today the Odisha CM Naveen Patnaik focused on the fact that the Police needs to develop a better rapport with the public. He said this when he was addressing the ninth raising day function of the Twin City Police Commissionerate here. While gracing the special programme at the OSAP 7th Battalion Ground, he congratulated the Twin City Police Commissionerate on the occasion and also extended his greetings to the policemen and policewomen for performing their duties successfully. Besides, DGP KB Singh, at the function, stated that the Commissionerate Police have definitely met to the expectations of the people and in the future they will keep on improving themselves and provide better security for the denizens. Also, YB Khurania, Police Commissioner said that in 2017, the twin city cops will work in a much better way and will eventually win the faith of people. There will be a launch of new initiatives this year and for this advanced professional skill will be acquired. At the function, some cops were given awards for achieving Excellency in their work followed by a lively parade.
