Rourkela, Jan 11: Yesterday the CBI found gold ornaments worth Rs 15 lakh and Rs 6.5 lakh worth of diamond jewellery and two Titan luxury watches from the arrested Rourkela Steel Plant (RSP) Executive Director (Works) BP Burma’s bank locker. The CBI had arrested Burma on charges of accepting bribe of Rs 1lakh from a contractor for passing a tender on Monday, Jan 9. A CBI team of six members had traced the ornaments from his locker at the SBI’s Sector-19 branch here. On Monday, the CBI officials seized Rs 29.15 lakh cash from Burma and his wife’s joint account.
