Bhubaneswar, Jan 19: Yesterday the Income Tax sleuths conducted a raid at a well-known jewellery showroom here. It has 11 branches in the country including in Bhubaneswar and Berhampur. The raid had been conducted due to the allegation of tax evasion and black money transaction. The Income Tax officials have also raided the showrooms in Kolkata, Vishakhapatnam and Mumbai. The officials during the raid verified the stock and other documents of the showrooms.
