Sambalpur, Feb 7: A fresh trouble has cropped up for the additional tehsildar of Maneswar tehsil here, Bikash Bhoi, as on charges of rendering government service by producing a fake caste certificate, the Revenue Divisional Commissioner of the northern range has suggested the former’s dismissal.
Upon thoroughly investigating, the committee did not approve Bhoi’s ST certificate and has also directed the Bolangir SP to lodge a criminal case against Bhoi as he belongs to Dhandamunda area of Bolangir. The RDC initiated action after getting the final from the scrutiny committee. Also, all tehsildars have been asked to investigate to find out whether Bhoi had purchased any land from any ST category people.
Notably a complaint had been lodged before the scrutiny committee that Bhoi had acquired the caste certificate even though he did not belong to the SC/ST category.
