Sambalpur, Feb 10: On Thursday, some outraged locals thrashed a youth to death at Gengutipalli chhak here as the latter had killed an elderly person of the village. The youth, Tinchu Munda, had recently been released from jail. He had attacked Munuku Oram in an inebriated condition, following which, he had to be admitted to the Burla hospital for being in a critical condition. However, doctors declared him dead at the hospital. Being informed, police have started investigation into the incident.
