BJP activists brawl with police: Protest against poll violence by BJD

Bhubaneswar, Feb 22: During a rally by the BJP activists protesting against the poll violence caused by the BJD in the recent Panchayat polls in Odisha, had a grand brawl with the police, near the state assembly in Bhubaneswar today.

Speaking to the media, some BJP ministers alleged BJD for the poll violence caused in during the elections. They also alleged BJD for the death of Sarpanch candidate Bulu pradhan in Brahman Sahi and Salman Rout of Tarabha village. They also alleged that BJD has unleashed the reign of terror with the help of the police.

Apart from this they alleged BJD of burning hundreds of BJP activist’s houses in Begunia in the past days.

The party workers and activists were today gathered here to warn the BJD to stay away from the violent acts, if not the state BJP will give an appropriate reply in the coming days.
