House adjourned after Congress demands apology from PM for his remarks on Odisha

Bhubaneswar, Feb 25: State assembly disturbed after Congress legislators stalled the house proceedings by shouting slogans, following the BJD members staging a dharna in the Assembly premises on Saturday, demanding an apology from PM Modi for his outrageous comment/remark on Odisha’s poverty at an election rally in UP yesterday.

As the house assembled, Congress chief whip Tara Prasad Bahinipati along with other party leaders alleging Modi’s statement as an insult to the state demanded an apology from him and shouted slogans at the well of the house.

Unable to manage, the speaker. adjourned the house proceedings till 11.30 am.
