India role important in G20 deliberations

Antalya, Nov 15: The G-20 grouping leaders will deliberate on global economic situation and security challenges today when they meet where India is playing an important role.

Key issues of development, climate change, inclusive growth, global economy will be discussed at the meet.

The two-day G-20 Summit is being held at a time when the global economic growth is slowing down. The Summit is expected to be attended by US President Barack Obama, Russian President Vladimir Putin, British Prime Minister David Cameron, German Chancellor Angela Merkel and Chinese President Xi Jinping.

Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi is likely to raise issues related to terrorism, climate change and global cooperation to unearth black money, among others, during the Summit, where talks would be dominated by attacks in Paris and war in Syria.
