Man detained for alleged links with fake note racket in Odisha

Bhubaneswar, Mar 20: Fake notes continue to flow in Odisha as the Commissionerate police have again nabbed a man in connection with the fake note case. Identified as Ratnakar Singh of Betanati Village in Mayurbhanj, after getting a tip, the accused youth was yesterday detained by the Mayurbhanj Police.

Notably, on 16th of march, in a joint operation by Baripada police and the Commissionerate police, a raid was conducted at the Salia sahi slum in Bhubaneswar, where the police found note printing equipments and papers, however, the person dealing with it had fled the the spot. The operation was conducted after getting an information Sagen Tudu, who was caught by the Baripada police earlier, for allegedly distributing fake notes in the vicinity.
