Kendrapara: A day after the Kendrapada violence, Central range IG Soumendra Priyadarshi has reached the town yesterday to take a report of the situation. Upon arrival, he chaired the meeting with the heads of various communities in the area.
In the meanwhile, while internet services in the area has been shut down, to avoid any untoward situation, nearly 5 platoon police force have been also been deployed.
Notably, over circulation of obscene content about a community on social media, and hurting their sentiments had created a tension in the area early on Wednesday.
