Jajpur, Apr 25: Olympian and ace sprinter Dutee Chand’s car was set on fire by some unknown miscreants on the night of Sunday at his residence at Gopalpur village in Jajpur.
As of sources, the car that was parked outside Dutee’s residence, was found burnt on Monday morning by some of their neighbours. Dutee’s family getting to know about the incident, lodged a complaint immediately at the Kuakhia Police station in the district. Police have started the investigation. But the identity and whereabouts of the miscreants are yet unknown.
Notably, the Nano car that was burned down was awarded by the UP government to Dutee for her excellent performance in a competition in 2013.
