Nabarangpur, May 5: Today morning, for fulfilling their demands, the workers of Mangalam Timber factory staged road block at NH-26 near the Mangalam Timber Chhak here thus wanting the reopening of the only industrial unit here. The factory’s staff and workers have been staging dharna even from the past three days ahead of the District Collector’s office. It has been alleged by them that discussions have been going on with the Nabarangpur district administration and the authorities of Mangalam Timber factory but it hasn’t yield any result. The industrial unit has been shut without neither giving any prior notice nor releasing the salary of the staff for the month of March.
