Bhubaneswar: Over 46 teams participated in the third KIIT University National Moot Court Competition organized by KIIT School of Law here.
The CMR Law College of Bangalore was adjudged the best team and bagged the champions trophy along with a cash prize of Rs one lakh.
Delhi University Campus Center of Law, was adjudged the first runners up and National Law University, Assam second runners up.
Both the teams were awarded with runners up trophy and cash prize of Rs 50,000 and Rs 25,000 respectively.
Shaurya Upadhyay of Campus Law Center, University of Delhi was adjudged best student lawyer and received cash prize of Rs, 10,000 and a trophy.
Justice Altamas Kabir, Former Chief Justice of India, Justice Rum Pal, Former Judge, Supreme Court of India and Justice Indra Banerjee, Judge, Calcutta High Court addressed the valedictory function.
