Bhubaneswar, 10th Aug: With the death of one more person, the death toll due to the H1N1 virus has increased to four in Odisha. Moreover, the number of patient tested positive for the swine flu virus has increased to 71 with 12 new more patients tested positive with the flu on Wednesday.
The deceased was a 79 year old woman named Santipriya Das, who belonged to Jagatsinghpur district.
Besides, two other people also succumbed to the disease on Wednesday. One of the deceased was a 42 year old woman who died at the SCB Medical College and Hospital, Cuttack, while the other deceased was a 48 year old woman who died while she was being shifted to another hospital for treatment against the doctor’s advice.
It may be noted that four days ago, the flu had claimed the life of a 53 year old man.
