Heat Wave Condition likely to prevail over interior Odisha

Bhubaneswar: May 08:  Heat wave condition prevailed in most parts of Odisha. Rainfall has occurred at one or two places over North Odisha and weather has been dry over south odisha. Maximum Temperatures observed no large changed over Odisha. The highest maximum temperature of 44.8 Degree C was recorded at Titlagarh and the lowest minimum temperature of 23.0 degree C was recorded at Sundergarh.

Light rain/thunder shower likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of coastal Odisha and adjacent districts of Mayurbhanj, Keonjhar, Jajpur, Gajapati, Raygada, Kandhamal and weather of most part of Odisha likely to be sunny.

Also, it is warned by Met.Centre, Bhubaneswar, Thunder Squall accompanied with hail and gusty surface wind speed reaching 50-60 KMPH likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of coastal Odisha and the districts of Mayurbhanj, Keonjhar, Jajpur, Gajapati, Raygada, Kandhamal and heat wave condition likely to prevail over interior Odisha.
