May 08: Residents of Mudulibeda village under Mathili police limits in Maoist-dominated Malkangiri district became panic after spotting an abandoned old television under a tree on Tuesday. Initially they suspected it as Bomb. Getting information from the locals, the BSF officials rushed to the spot and immediately cordoned off the area, suspecting it to an ‘explosive’ planted by the Maoists. Further, a bomb squad team was engaged to blow up the TV by using explosives. But, there were no explosives found inside the TV.
