Bhubaneswar, June 07: Many leaders and workers from different political parties joined congress today in a function held at Congress Bhawan in presence of Odisha Pradesh Congress President Mr. Niranjan Patnaik. Most of them came to the party which they left for some or other reason days or months back. Some were disappointed and discontent because of the then leadership and left Congress party. Today they will comeback. Also some Sarapanchas and senior leaders from BJD and BJP also joined congress in this special function. Prominent among them are Mr. Arya Kumar Gyanendra, State president of Trunamula Congress, Odisha, 22 Executive members of the party and around 250 active members. Also 12 Sarapanchas of BJD form Dhenkanal dist. 5 BJP Sarapanchas from Raygada, senior leader of BJD Ms. Saraswati Hembram, Mr. Ashok Samal joined the party. They recast their faith on Congress party and joined. Mr. Patnaik, PCC chief said, after he took charge of Odisha, had appealed the leaders and workers who left congress to come back. The ruling party BJD is talking of good governance and playing all the mischieves. State is going through the worst phase. It can be changed if congress gets people’s support. Mr. Jitendra Singh, Odisha Prabhari told, now the people have begun to have faith on the ideology of Congress Party and Rahul Gandhi. The people of Odisha have been accepting and appreciating the leadership of Mr. Niranjan Patnaik. This will the party to grow. Former Centre minister and Prachar Committee Chairperson Mr. Bhakta Charan Das, Odisha PCC, Working president Mr. Chiranjibi Biswal and Pradip Majhi, former Chief Minister Mr. Hemananda Biswal, other office bearers and senior leaders were present in the program.
