Cuttack, Dec 02: The Odisha High Court today granted conditional bail to Satyam Raul, the ‘foster son’ of self-styled godman Sarathi Baba of Kendrapada.
Satyam has been lodged in the Choudwar Circle Jail since 20th August this year.
While granting the bail, the court asked Satyam to depose before the Investigating Officer (IO) in every 15 days and not to leave the state without the permission of the Investigating Officer.
Lower court will decide on the amount of bail bond for sanction of bail to Satyam, said Court in its order.
Notably, a Crime Branch team had arrested Satyam from a hotel in Borivali area of Mumbai in August this year. He had gone missing after Sarathi Baba controversy came to public.
