Keonjhar: June 03: Two sisters of Raisuan village died on the spot as a speeding truck ran over them on NH-20 near their village.
The deceased sisters have been identified as Nibedita Das (45) and Pankajini Das (55).
Sources said, two sisters were walking on the roadside of NH-20 when a truck ran over them.
After receiving the information, a Police team chased the truck and managed to nab the driver near Banajodi toll gate. Also, Police sent the bodies to Keonjhar District Hospital for post-mortem.
Locals gathered on the spot and staged a protest demanding compensation for family members of the deceased.
