Cuttack, Dec 09: Odisha High Court today cancels notification for appointment of 141 lecturers in Ravenshaw University.
The Court directs Ravenshaw authorities to submit compliance report over the recruitment by March 14. HC asks to issue fresh notification in 4 weeks.
HC also asks University authorities to complete recruitment process within eight weeks of the fresh notification.Next hearing will be on March 16.Notably, the University had issued a notification in June 2014 for appointment of lecturers and professors.
Alleging that the advertisement did not adhere to the UGC guidelines, some of the aggrieved had filed a petition against the notification.
