Bhubaneswar: August 15: The 73rd Independence Day has been celebrated at Odisha University of Agriculture & Technology (OUAT). Attending a special function, Dr. Pawan Kumar Agrawal, Vice Chancellor, OUAT hoisted the national flag and addressed the gathering. During his Independence Day speech, Dr. Agrawal reiterates the contribution of freedom fighters in making our country free. Making the country a food surplus state was a huge task, which we achieved with a whole hearted and sincere effort by all stake holders and specifically, with lot of contribution of agriculture scientists, he said. Addressing the gathering, he appealed everybody to bring in a corruption free and efficient work environment which would be effective in addressing newer challenges and making the country touch new heights of development. All the Deans, Directors, teachers, scientists and students participated in the function.
