Bhubaneswar: May 14: 73 fresh COVID-19 cases have been reported in Odisha today, as informed by Odisha Information & Public Relations Department.
Ganjam registered 42 fresh cases and it’s total number rose to 252. All 42 cases are in quarantine center and Surat Returnees.
Jajpur’s total reached 88 with 17 new cases. All 17 cases are in quarantine center and West Bengal Returnees.
Bhadrak had 31 cases till yesterday, now it has reached 40 cases with 9 new cases. All are in quarantine center. Out of 9, 5 are Surat Returnees, 3 West Bengal Returnees and 1 has returned from Karnataka.
With 3 new cases, Khurda registered 53 cases as on today. All are in quarantine center and Surat Returnees.
Sundergarh has added 2 to its total and now, it’s total number rose to 25. These two persons are from the containment zone, as informed by I & PR Department.
Total number of confirmed cases in Odisha has gone up to 611 on Thursday. Out of 611, 143 persons have already recovered and 465 cases are active. Only three persons have succumbed to the disease.
