Odisha records 1499 new COVID-19 cases; Total tally jumps to 31,877

Odisha reports 170 Covid-19 New Cases; No cases in10 Districts

Bhubaneswar: July 31: Odisha registered 1499 new COVID-19 cases in last 24 hours. Out of which, 914 are Quarantine cases and rest 585 Local Contact Cases. Also, as per Health Department’s Website, the total number of cases in the State increased to 31,877.

Ganjam has reported 368 new cases, Khurda 214 cases, Gajapati 97 cases, Dhenkanal 92 cases, Koraput 81 cases, Sundergarh 75 cases, Nayagarh 67 cases, Sambalpur 56 cases,Kandhamal 50 cases, Kalahandi 44 cases, Rayagada 40 cases, Puri 36 cases, Balasore 37 cases, Nabarangpur 33 cases, Cuttack 28 cases, Malkangiri 26 cases, Angul 25 cases, Bolangir & Jajpur 19 cases each, Keonjhar 16 cases, Jagatsinghpur 15 cases, Kendrapara 14 cases, Mayurbhanj 13 cases, Bargarh 10 cases, Nuapada 9 cases, Jharsuguda 7 cases, Sonepur 5 cases, Deogarh 2 cases and Bhadrak one case.

Odisha also reported 8 deaths due to COVID-19 in last 24 hours. Out of that, 4 are from Ganjam and one each from Khurda, Nayagarh, Gajapati & Sundergarh District. Total death toll in the State due the pandemic reached 177.
