Bhubaneswar, Jan 21: The oldest tribal festival of India, the Adivasi Mela 2021 is going to begin from 26th January and will remain till 9th February at the Adivasi Exhibition Ground, Unit-1 in the city.
The event which brings together nearly 62 Tribes from across the state, is celebrated as a festival since 1954 in Odisha. The massive mela, not only widens the area of knowledge about tribes but also about their culture, attire, tradition etc.
Due to the prevailing COVID-19 situation, the state will be conducting the Mela in both physical as well as online medium through its newly launched website www.adivasimela2021.com, said Suresh Chnadra Mohapatra, State Chief Secretary.
Interested people can register themselves on our online portal to visit physically. People can also join us virtually though our portal, where you can also buy the products online, added Sri Mohapatra.
