Bhubaneswar: February 15: 88 new Corona Positive Cases have been identified in the state. Fifty-one of them were in quarantine. The remaining 37 are local cases. The information was provided by the Department of Information and Public Relations.
All 88 cases were detected from 18 districts and state pool. 27 of them are from Sundargarh district.
Three were identified from Anugul district, 4 from Balasore, 10 from Bargarh, 1 from Balangir, 1 from Boudh, 1 from Cuttack, 1 from Deogarh, 4 from Jajpur, 3 from Jharsuguda, 1 from Kalahandi, 5 from Keonjhar, 3 from Khordha, 7 from Mayurbhanj, 1 from Nayagarh, 2 from Nuapada, 9 from Puri and 4 from Sambalpur.
One person has been identified from the State Pool, while no new cases have been reported from Bhadrak, Dhenkanal, Jagatsinghpur, Kandhamal, Kendrapara, Koraput, Malkangiri, Nabarangpur, Rayagada, Sonpur, Gajapati and Ganjam districts.
With 88 new cases, the total number of corona positive cases in the state has risen to 3,36,262. Of those, 3,33,554 have already recovered. 744 cases are active at present.
On the other hand, after a gap of a few days, another person died in Corona in the state. The deceased was a resident of Sambalpur district. In Sambalpur district, the death toll from corona has risen to 78. The total death toll in the State due to Corona increased to 1,911.
