Bhubaneswar: August 29: Out of 849 new Covid Positive Cases in Odisha reported today, 361 cases are from Khurda District only. The daily cases in the district is almost around 40 per cent of State’s cases.
Also, out of total cases registered today, 119 are below 18 years’ old. 491 people were in quarantine & tested positive. Rest 358 cases are from local contacts.
956 patients recovered from the disease in last 24 hours
With today’s 849 new cases, Odisha’s total increased to 1006503. Out of that, 990796 patients have already recovered from the disease.
Active cases number comes down further to 7820.
68,667 tests have been done in last 24 hours and daily positivity rate declines to 1.23 percent in Odisha.
