Shimla, Dec 15: Two congress workers allegedly received burns while trying to set an effigy of Prime Minister Narendra Modi during a protest against National democratic Alliance (NDA) government for alleged political vendetta.
Congress sources said, several activists caught fire but one-Manoj Adhikari was shifted to the Indira Gandhi Medical College (IGMC).
Soon after the incident, workers reassembled and restarted the protest. Party workers from urban and rural district committees of Shimla participated in the protest. Meanwhile, similar protests were held across the state.
