Covid cases goes down in Odisha
Bhubaneswar: August 16: Daily Covid Positive Cases have come down in Odisha. On Monday, Odisha reported 868 fresh Covid Positive Cases and out of that, 507 people were in quarantine and rest 361 are local contact cases. Yesterday, 1058 cases had been reported.
Health Department’s information said, 1043 patients have recovered from the disease in last 24 hours.
Total tally of Covid Positive Cases in Odisha increased to 9,95,433 and out of that, 9,78,240 people have already recovered from the disease.
Active cases number reduced a bit and today, it is 10,187.
In last 24 hours, 62,119 samples have been tested and out of that, 868 came out as Positive.
Daily Positive Rate remains at 1.39 percent.
Khurda District continues to top the list of districts with 256 cases.

Angul 26, Balasore 52, Bargarh 13, Bhadrak 19, Balangir 8, Boudh 1, Cuttack 154, Deogarh 6, Dhenkanal 15, Gajapati 1, Ganjam 3, Jagatsinghpur 23, Jajpur 45, Jharsuguda 6, Kalahandi 2, Kandhamal 12, Kendrapada 26, Keonjhar 10, Khurda 256, Malkangiri 6, Mayurbhanj 28, Nayagarh 21, Nuapada-6, Puri 21, Rayagada 2, Sambalpur 39, Sundargarh 13 and 54 cases found from State Pool.
