Bhubaneswar: August 17: Odisha has reported less than 800 cases today. As informed by Information & Public Relations Department, 720 new cases were found in last 24 hours and out of that, 96 cases are within the age group of 0-18.
In last 24 hours, 50,727 tests have been done and out of that, 720 people were found positive. Daily Positivity Rate stands at 1.41 per cent.
Out of the new cases recorded today, 421 were in quarantine and rest are local contact cases.
Health Department’s information said, 1167 patients have recovered from the disease in last 24 hours.
Total tally of Covid Positive Cases in Odisha increased to 9,96,153 and out of that, 9,79,407 people have already recovered from the disease.
Active cases number comes down to below 10,000-mark. Today it is 9672.
Khurda District continues to top the list of districts with 279 cases.
