No IPL for English Players

Bhubaneswar: The remaining matches of the IPL 2021 will start in the UAE from the 16th of next month. After the cancellation of the fifth Test, the players of the Indian team also started their journey from Manchester to the UAE. In the meantime, the Punjab Kings, Sunrisers Hyderabad and Delhi Capitals have been hit hard. Punjab Kings, Sunrisers Hyderabad and Delhi Capitals have raised concerns after three England players have dropped from the IPL. Punjab’s number one T20 batsman David Malan has been dropped from the IPL, while Chris Woakes and Jonny Bairstow knocked themselves out of the IPL from Sunrisers Hyderabad and Delhi Capitals.

In place of David Malan, Punjab have included South African batsman Makram. The T20 World Cup is ahead, so David Malan has decided to drop out of the IPL to give his family time, the Punjab team said. Similarly, Jonny Bairstow and Chris Woakes have reportedly dropped out of the IPL for the same reason. It has been reported that a player could be added to the squad soon in place of Bairstow.
