In an accident near Barabanki, Uttar Pradesh, 13 people died and around 30 people got injured. The accident happened as a truck and a passenger bus collided on the outer ring road near Barabanki, Uttar Pradesh on Thursday Morning.
The injured persons were taken to hospital. Immediately Police reached the spot and rescued the the injured passengers.
Trying to save a stray cow, the Truck & Bus collided as they were coming from opposite directions, according to eyewitnesses.
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath expressed grief over the loss of lives and directed the concerned officials to provide all help to the victims.
The chief minister also announced a compensation of Rs two lakh each to the kin of the deceased and Rs 50,000 each for the injured.
