Odisha reported 524 new Covid +Ve cases in last 24 hours, pushing State’s total (since the beginning of the pandemic) to 10,30,518. Of which, 10,17,116 patients have so far recovered from the infection including 522 new recoveries reported yesterday.
Out of 524 new cases, 306 people were in quarantine and 218 are local contacts. Also, 75 cases are under 18 years’ age, informed Health & Family Welfare Department.
Active caseload has increased little bit and today it stands at 5111.
4 more deaths have been reported and with this, total death toll increased to 8238.
66,724 tests have been conducted in last 24 hours. Daily Positivity Rate remains at 0.78 percent.
Khurda District has reported highest cases i.e. 250, which is almost 50 percent of the total cases reported in last 24 hours.
