Odisha reported 441 new Covid-19 cases during last 24 hours. Of this, 75 cases are under 18 years’ old. Also, as informed by I & PR Department, 253 people were in quarantine and rest 188 are local contact cases.
State has recorded 603 new recoveries and total number of recovered cases reached 10,25,025 whereas Odisha’s total tally of cases increased to 10,37,964 including 441 reported today.
4 more deaths registered as informed by Health & Family Welfare Department. With this, overall death toll in Odisha rose to 8305.
Active caseload is declining gradually. Today, it is 4581.
Khurda District repeats to report highest number of cases and today, it has reported 205 new cases.
Eight more districts which have reported cases in double digits are : Cuttack (37), Sambalpur (18), Jagatsinghpur (16), Sundergarh (14), Bhadrak (13), Jajpur (13), Mayurbhanj (10) and Rayagada (10).
Four districts reported zero cases and rest 17 districts of State reported cases in single digits.
Daily Positivity Rate remains at 0.63 %.
