Bhubaneswar, Dec 21: The Wildlife Society of Odisha has pointed out the irregularities and the presence of buried Iron ore and demanded excavation by machines to determining the exact amount.

However they have confirmed the presence of buried ore both at the railway siding and outside it. The Indian Bureau of Mines team had been accompanied by Officials of the District Mining Office, who had initially denied the existence of any such ore in their earlier reports. The siding owner, the district administration and the government are on a massive cover up operation, the Society alleged.

“The exposure of this buried ore reveals the fact that the mining scam is still going on in Odisha due to the active connivance of the local officials and higher ups in the Steel and Mines department,” the Society alleged on Sunday.
