Two Goods Train Collide Between Rourkela-Ranchi
Two goods train collided between Pakar and Kurkura railway stations under Ranchi-Rourkela railway section late last night, informed Indian Railways. Sources said, both the trains derailed after the collusion.
As per the preliminary investigation, the incident occurred, may be due to brake failure of one of the freight trains. But, the investigation is on to know the exact reason of mishap.
Railway officials, including a team from the Rourkela ARM office, rushed to the spot for restoration of the damaged track.
Train services under the Ranchi-Rourkela railway division have been affected.
