Odisha Reports 10,489 Covid-19 Cases In A Day
Odisha reported 10,489 new Covid-19 cases today and with this, state’s total (cases since the beginning of the pandemic) increased to 11,44,401. In the same time period, 4,452 patients have recovered from the disease and the total recoveries reached 10,60,067.
Of 10,489 new cases reported today, 982 are in the age group of 0-18. Also, As informed by Health & Family Welfare Department, 6082 people were in quarantine and found to be positive whereas 4407 are local contact cases.
Active caseload stands at 75,797.
Khurda District reported 2934 cases, followed by Sundergarh 1447, Cuttack 786, Balasore 433, Sambalpur 387, Mayurbhanj 383, Rayagada 253, Balangir 238, Jharsuguda 225, Jagatsinghpur 207 and 707 new cases detected from the State Pool.

3 deaths recorded in 24 hours and with this, total death toll increased to 8484,
70117 tests have been conducted in 24 hours and out of that, 10,489 samples are found to be positive. Daily Positivity Rate remains at 15 percent around.
