Mayurbhanj: Similipal National Park in Mayurbhanj district of Odisha shall reopen for tourists from October 10, said reports on Tuesday. This is a welcome move for tourists as the Durga Puja holidays start soon.
According to Simlipal is one of the largest National parks in the country and is spread over an area of 2,750 sq kms. Around 35-25 four-wheelers will be allowed to enter from Pithabata gate and Kaliani gate from 6 am to 9 am every day.
The Similipal National Park authorities shall welcome the tourists by offering them flowers at the entry points. Night halt at Gudgudia, Kumari, Ramtirtha, Barehipani and Jamuani in the national park can be booked through the official website www.ecotourodisha.com.
