Puri: The repair and renovation work of the Ratnabhandara, the treasure of the famous Lord Jagannath temple in Puri of Odisha is likely to be begin from December 16. Information has been received from the ASI Superintendent in this regard. A meeting will be held in two days to discuss this.
It has been said that 5 hours are required every day for the repair work. First, we will work on the outside and then the inside of the Ratnabhandar. If there is a need to change the stones at any place, we will change them, the ASI Superintendent said.
The Ratnabhandar of the temple was opened for inspection last July. All the ornaments have been taken in a chest and kept in a temporary strong room made in the temple. But the repair work of the Ratnabhandar has not started yet. Earlier, it was said that the Ratnabhandar would be repaired after the month of Kartik.
