Sundergarh: Heavy snowfall was witnessed in Koida area of Sundergarh district for the second day of this year, and snowfall continued tonight. After the temperature dropped below 5 degrees Celsius at night, heavy snowfall was seen in various places in Koida area. Open fields and the rooftops of vehicles were covered with a layer of snow.
Due to the snowfall, normal life has been disrupted in the area. Being a mining area, especially night shift workers, and workers going to work in the morning, bedridden workers, poor and elderly people are facing a lot of hardship due to the snowfall.
Tensa, Kalta, Malda, Koida headquarters and Kashira in Koida area witnessed heavy snowfall. Earlier yellow warning had been issued to Sundergarh district in this regard.
