Bhubaneswar: Former MLA of Bhubaneswar, Bijaya Kumar Mohanty passed away today. He died of a cardiac arrest. He was unresponsive after a cardiac arrest.
The doctors of Capital Hospital declared him brought dead on December 22. He was admitted in the hospital and was undergoing treatment for suffering a cardiac arrest. As per rules, a post mortem will be done.
He was elected two times to the Legislative Assembly of Odisha. He was elected in 2009 and 2014 from the ticket of Biju Janta Dal (BJD). He was elected from the Bhubaneswar (central) constituency two times to the 14th and 15th Legislative Assembly.
