New Delhi: A US- based organisation HinduPACT has launched a campaign to support Republican Tulsi Gabbard’s nomination by President elect Donald Trump as the Director of National Intelligence (DNI).
This online campaign allows U.S. residents to send emails to their Senators expressing their views and facilitates phone calls to their offices.
“Tulsi embodies the highest ideals of integrity, service, and patriotism. Throughout her distinguished career, she has demonstrated a steadfast commitment to serving the American people and upholding the principles of democracy and justice,” the organisation said in a release.
“Tulsi is a patriotic American who has selflessly served her country as a combat veteran in the United States Armed Forces. Her dedication to this nation is unquestionable, and her record reflects her deep love and respect for the United States and its people,” it added.
The Hindu Policy Research and Advocacy Collective (HinduPACT) is dedicated to the advocacy and policy research of issues concerning the American Hindu community.
