Mahaprabhu Offered ‘Amrit Anna’

Puri: Mahaprabhu Lord Jagannath in Puri of Odisha was offered ‘Koth Bhoga’ made with organic rice on Friday. The ‘Amrit Anna’ was offered in the ‘Madhyanna Dhupa’.

As per reports, the said ‘Amrit Anna’ was prepared with five types of organic rice. Out of this, the ‘Gobinda Bhog’ rice and Jhilli rice have been approved by the temple administration for use in ‘Koth Bhoga’.

The said Mahaprasad was later served to the Chief Administrator of Srimandira Arvind Padhi, Suar Mahasuar Niyog members and the administrative officers of the temple.

Further, preparations have been initiated to make the said organic Mahaprasada reach to the devotees.

Similarly, the temple administration and the state government’s Agriculture Department have informed various organizations to provide financial incentives to keep more of this rice available in the coming days.

In future, pulses and vegetables etc. will also be produced organically and used in Mahaprasad. This decision will be implemented soon.
