Cuttack: Three persons sustained injury after a speeding car reportedly crashed into a roadside shop in Jagatpur area in Cuttack of Odisha in the wee hour of the day today.
Out of the injured persons 2 are reportedly from the Champati panchayat and third one is from Mutarifa panchayat in Padmapur area.
According to information, 3 friends were going to Puri in a car. The driver lost control over the steering and hit a roadside shop in Jagatpur area of Cuttack.
As a result of the accident, the two friends in the car sustained critical injury while the driver has sustained simple injury. The two friends have been admitted to SCB Medical College and Hospital in a critical condition.
It is to be noted that in a similar incident a few days ago, a car hit a roadside shop in Nayagarh. Two people including a pedestrian were killed in this incident.
