Odisha Minister for public awareness campaign on road safety

Bhubaneswar, Jan 11: Odisha’s Commerce & Transport Minister Ramesh Chandra Majhi has emphasized on public awareness campaigns to reduce incidents of accidents on road.

Speaking at a function to mark the 27th Road Safety week here today, Majhi said people should also heed to traffic rules for safe journey.

Majhi said that several initiatives have been taken by the government to reduce the road accidents across the state and if the people obey the traffic rules a large number of accidents can be averted.

During the occasion, a decorated chariot moved around the city to send a message about road safety.
